Meredith Downing brings more than 20 years of experience in floor covering sales and management to her role as Residential Sales Manager at Gardner Flooring. A graduate of Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Meredith combines her design background with her extensive industry experience to help customers find flooring solutions that beautifully fit their homes and lifestyles. Originally from Trussville, Alabama, Meredith has called Auburn home for the past 25 years. When she’s not helping customers in the showroom, she enjoys shopping, tackling home restoration projects and spending time with her husband and 17-year-old son.

Alonso Hernandez brings experience in commercial flooring estimating and project management to his role as Commercial Estimator & Project Manager. A graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Alonso combines his analytical background with industry experience to help successfully manage commercial flooring projects from estimating and procurement through project completion. Alonso has worked on major institutional and commercial projects throughout the state, including Auburn University student housing, healthcare and government facilities, and multi-tenant remodels. Outside of work, Alonso serves as a minister at First Pentecostal Church of Prattville. He is also an avid equestrian and owner of several AQHA sires and enjoys playing pickleball.

Thomas Alan Brewer brings more than 12 years of hard-surface flooring installation experience to Gardner Flooring. A graduate of Troy University with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Spanish, he combines his technical flooring expertise with his experience in the U.S. Army to help ensure residential flooring projects are installed to the highest standards. Originally from Andalusia, Alabama, Thomas specializes in jobsite and technical inspections, warranty claims, equipment maintenance, and ongoing technical education. He holds a CFJ Hardwood Flooring Installation designation and has extensive experience with hardwood, vinyl, and tile. Outside of work, Thomas enjoys reading and hiking.

With over eight years of warehouse and customer service experience, Jason plays an important role in keeping the warehouse organized and ensuring materials are ready for installers and customers. Jason handles pickups and deliveries, truck unloading, installer loading, warehouse maintenance, and a variety of flooring-related projects, including cutting rug pads, painting, and staining. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time at the gym and playing basketball.

Jackie brings 26 years of experience to her role as Bookkeeper at Gardner Flooring. With a wealth of knowledge about the company and its operations, Jackie helps keep the business running smoothly through her work in accounting and payroll. Jackie’s historical knowledge of the company and her attention to detail make her an integral part of the Gardner team. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending time in her garden.

A graduate from Troy University and Western Governors University in interdisciplinary studies with a minor in Human Resources, Kala combines her customer-focused approach with her design experience to help homeowners find flooring solutions that fit their homes and lifestyles. Kala works closely with clients throughout the selection and sales process, from project estimates to final decisions. She is married to her husband Joshua and they have three children. Outside of work, Kala enjoys painting, needlepoint, and cross-stitching.

With Kelly’s attention to detail and knowledge of the business, she helps keep the billing process organized and running smoothly for the company and its customers. Originally from Montgomery, Alabama, Kelly is a proud mom of three. When she’s not handling billing, she enjoys keeping fish and working on jigsaw puzzles.

A graduate of Flagler College with a degree in Business Administration, Jennifer combines her business background and industry expertise to help clients successfully navigate commercial flooring projects. Originally from Auburn, Alabama, Jennifer is active in the industry as Director of Membership at AMFP-Alabama and a member of Women in Healthcare. She is married and has four children. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys hunting, fly fishing, and reading.

Experienced in warehousing, installation, sales, and project management, Nick combines his hands-on experience with his design consulting skills to help customers find flooring solutions that fit their homes and needs. Nick works closely with homeowners throughout the sales and design process. He is married and has two children. Outside of work, Nick serves as a youth pastor and enjoys playing pickleball in his spare time.

A graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management, Lori combines her 22 years of design expertise and project coordination experience to help homeowners navigate everything from flooring and interior selections to insurance restoration projects. Born and raised in the Pike Road area, Lori now calls Auburn home. She works closely with homeowners and builders on new construction and remodeling projects, coordinating flooring, tile, paint colors, and other interior finishes. Lori has been married to her husband, Andy, for 21 years and they have two sons. Outside of work, she enjoys golf, interior design, antiquing, home projects, and spending time with her family. Fun fact: she met Andy through an HGTV show, If Walls Could Talk.

Lisa brings 17 years of warehouse experience and 11 years of customer service experience to her role as Warehouse and Operations Manager at Gardner Flooring. Lisa helps keep materials, labor, and projects organized from the time products arrive until jobs are ready to go out. Originally from Hamilton, Alabama, Lisa now lives in Titus with her husband, JP. They have two children and three grandchildren. When she’s not managing warehouse operations, Lisa absolutely adores being a grandmother and spending time with her grandbabies.

A graduate of Auburn University at Montgomery with a degree in Business Management, Sammy combines his extensive 35 years of flooring knowledge with his experience in new construction to help homeowners and builders successfully bring their projects together. Sammy specializes in new construction, takeoffs, product ordering, and installation scheduling. He and his wife, Suzanne, have been married for 33 years and have four children, eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Outside of work, Sammy enjoys golf and cheering on his grandchildren at their sporting events.

Dustin brings a diverse background in construction and more than 21 years of service with Montgomery Fire & Rescue to his role as Residential Sales Consultant at Gardner Flooring. A graduate of Jefferson Davis High School and Troy University, Dustin combines his experience in roofing, custom stair building, finish trim, and other trades with his Solution Specialist designation to help customers choose flooring that is both beautiful and right for their needs. Originally from Springfield, Illinois, his family has been connected to the flooring industry for more than 50 years.Dustin works closely with homeowners to find flooring solutions that fit their homes and lifestyles. Dustin is also a retired Fire Lieutenant and was fortunate to serve on the Rescue & Recovery Dive Team and Honor Guard. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time at the lake with his family and playing acoustic guitar.

Tyler brings a unique combination of hands-on flooring experience and a passion for customer service to his role in Retail Flooring Sales. With 10 years of experience in flooring installation and 13 years in customer service, Tyler understands both the technical side of flooring and the importance of creating a positive experience for every customer. He enjoys helping customers find the right flooring to bring their spaces to life. Tyler enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, son, and daughter. And when he’s not helping customers, you’ll find him enjoying time on the water or pursuing his interest in real estate investing.

Crista Bolsinger brings nearly two decades of administrative and customer service experience to Gardner Flooring. After spending over 18 years working for the State of Washington—including 15 years with the Washington State Department of Corrections and 3.5 years with the Washington State Department of Children, Youth, & Families—Crista brings a wealth of organizational experience and a warm, welcoming approach to her work. At the front desk, she enjoys helping customers feel welcomed while assisting with calls, payments, and orders. Originally from Montgomery, Crista recently returned to the area with her husband, Allen, and their beloved 2-year-old pit bull, Angel, after many years in Elma, Washington. The move marks an exciting new chapter filled with new opportunities and adventures. Outside of work, Crista enjoys crafting and painting, spending time with her family, and taking road trips and traveling with her husband. She is especially proud to be a grandmother to four amazing grandsons and treasures the time she gets to spend with her growing family.

Mark has been a pivotal part of the local commercial flooring community for years. He has been with Gardner Flooring for 36 years, and actually started the commercial department. A proud parent of 4, he is a sports fanatic, and loves fishing and spending time on the beach in his spare time.
